EZ
TEST BATTERY TESTER
Description
The EZ Test Battery produces voice output that
tells the user whether the battery has limited charge or not. The instructions
for use of the tester are on cassette or in Braille. The device vibrates or
makes audible sounds to indicate battery status. The device is connected to a
test wire and is supported by an elastic band when it is stored. This device
was designed for individuals that are blind or have low vision. Not all
batteries are tested with this device but the most common batteries such as AA,
AAA, C or D batteries can be tested. The manufacturer of this device is
CareTec.
Purpose
The battery tester allows the user to change
the batteries from numerous electronic devices. A variety of AT utilizes
battery power, so having an item like this may affect the outcomes of other AT
devices. The user must be familiar with safety practices when it comes to using
batteries.
Directions
Place the tester wire
on the end of the battery being tested and wait for the sound or vibration that
indicates the status of the battery.
